How can Da Vinci be characterized as a true Renaissance Man?

Leonardo da Vinci can be categorized as a typical renaissance man because the renaissance is all about the rebirth and the exploration of arts, science and astronomy. And Leonardo da Vinci studies all of these things. Leonardo invented, wrote, painted and studied in ways that no one has ever done before. This allowed him to invent and discover so much more. The Mona Lisa is one of Leonardo’s most famous paintings because of her smile. At that time not many people painted atomical accuracy and facial expression in their paintings and Leonardo da Vinci was one of the first to do that. Leonardo was also a great scientist as he made many discoveries about the human body; he used to make detailed sketches about every part of the human body. For example, Leonardo made a picture of the woman foetus that was very close to the real thing and before that very little was known about it. The way Leonardo da Vinci made so many inventions and discoveries made him a genius and a true renaissance man.

I agree that he is a renaissance man because, as you said, he studied all those "things". He was so varied in his inventions and discoveries.
